Coast Starlight Interpretive Program

The museum's interpretive program aboard Amtrak's Coast Starlight covers "California's Wonderful Corner," the area between the cities of Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo.

Museum guides share the area's colorful history, points of interest, local sights, and natural history with passengers in a live presentation in the train's sightseer lounge.

The program is affiliated with the Trails and Rails Program of the National Park Service and the Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail.

Here are a few images that represent the tour area and the content of the interpretive program.
